gimmie a hand here guys, radio trouble

Alright, truck has been great thus far. fire up my truck, drive away as normal. driving down the road, radio cuts out. (still has power, no sound) i turn left, it comes back... OK....... keep goin, turn right... gone.....

loose power to the amp? it crackels when it loses sound, and i can swerve left and right and it will come on and turn off. ill upload a video of what i mean.

its one of those.... WTF was THAT!

how do you have your door speakers hooked up? thru a amp or the h/u?

This same thing happened to me my 07. its the door speakers, they are coming loose and possibly grounding out on something, causing the stereo to shut down the sound to avoid damage to its electronics and blowing fuses. Take off the door panel and check the connections. This happened to me after allot of off road driving which rattles the connections loose. Try a dab of super glue or silicone to keep them in place. Good luck.

sounds like an idea. i was offroad a week back, weird it just started up. with a 12" sub im not surprised. ill pull the door panels ans take a peek. it didnt do it tonight, only that once...

stereo is stock with pioneer speekers. the amp is tapped into the output lines.
