okay before the weekend I plan on cranking the tbars on my 2000. just a question but do i really need to jack the front tires off the ground? just wondering and exactly where you guys measure from fender to ground top of tire to fender? just looking at quick and easy also should i keep the impact on the shelf or letter rip

It takes alot of stress off the bar when you jack the front end up off the ground and let the tires hang, otherwise you will be fighting the spring pressure with the tires on the ground.

that makes sense; just before work I got everything ready and had to see how rusted the bolts were on the t bar got everything freed up with
mr inpact I would like to just match the rear is around 35 1/2 and the front at 34 would it be wise to drive it around a little before i bring it in for an alignment to free any suspension parts that may be stuck?

Yes you need to lift the tires off the ground.

I wouldn't recommend using the impact (except maybe to break the loose like you did) because you need to keep track of how much you've turned the bolt.

Drive it around for a couple days and before you ask them to DO an alignment ask them CHECK the alignment and report back to you before they actually do anything-mine didn't need any aligning after a 2" crank.

If you do get them to align it, make sure to tell them not to touch your torsion bars because they will often undo your torsion crank to correct camber.

okay thanks I will be doing this at lunch today thanks for the imput i just know that they would undo the tcrank thats a good point thanks
