Getting new mud tires tomorrow!

As long as everything goes right and my taxes are in tomorrow like they're supposed to be, I'm going to get a set of Definity Dakota M/Ts tomorrow night in 235/75/15. I was going to get 30s, but theyre like half an inch taller and about $120 more a set. I could fit 31s, but don't feel like regearing my truck at this point in time. I'm sure the Dakotas will be MUCH better off road than the michelins and make the whole truck look better.

610 mounted and balanced. Don't include the road hazard or anything. Everything I've read online said they're good tires and 300 cheaper than BFG muds, so figured I'd try em out. I used to work at pep boys, so I'm hopin someone that knows me might hook me up with an employee discount lol

i just looked at these tonight at pep boys and they are good tires, they are generic cooper stt's. Same tire different name for the store, but really good looking.

Why not A/T's? Mud tires are not really the greatest for the street and they don't last as long. All my buddies who put them on hated them after a year..the noise and the funny bumping feel as they drove mostly on the street drove them crazy.....are you going in the mud all the time?? I had a set on my Wrangler and hated them. I bought the Jeep with them brand new and got rid of them 6 months later. They drove me crazy. They were MT tires with a bit of aggressive lugs....ugh!!!!

I've had mud tires before and they don't bother me at all. I have never had any luck with all terrains in this clay around here. Trucks @ the shop gettin them put on now, so pics to come tonight when I get off or tomorrow

Clay, eh? Well if those tiny tires on your ride are the same size mud tires then they should be great for the street, then. If you were going to lift it and put on 33's or 35's there might be a difference in the ride for sure.
Post photos when you get them mounted!!! You do have a nice looking truck and I have always like the roll/light bar you added!!!

I think i could write a book about the kinda stuff you come up with your posts, lol! Oh yea, those mud tires are just so horrible on the streets, a properly balanced mud terrain will ride just fine and last a long time. Were "all your buddies" used to driving luxury cars? Obviously different tires are different. A/Ts suck shit offroad v/s a mud terrain.

im running m/t tires for my very first time and i love them so far. they make a bit of noise, but thats what i like. the truck feels like a truck now.
i wont go back to a/t or even passenger type tires ever again!
