I went camping with some friends over the weekend, one of the girls we I was with ended up drinking to much so I let her sit in my truck with the A/C on. Well she ended up puking all over the interior of my truck, this is the 3rd time this has happened to me, luckily the other 2 times it was only a little on the passenger side dash and floor mat so it was easy to clean up. But this time its in the seat pretty bad and I have no clue what to do, I already took the seat out and tried shampooing the seat, it sorta worked but I can still smell it and I have no clue what eles to try. any one have any Ideas?

Oh and luckily I had my windshield replaced last week but its been leaking water with all the rain we've had so I took the carpet out Friday afternoon before I left for the trip so at least the carpet is only wet and not smelling like throw up.

Go to a junkyard and pull one? I dunno but I think club soda might work too and just febreeze the crap out of it?

Oh, and in the future, don't let a drunk chick sit in your truck...she can throw up on the ground like everybody else!

:icon_rofl:, such honorable words.

Try baking soda and water. It seemed to help remove the smokers smell from the carpet and seats when I first got the Ranger.

yea baking soda, a good thick covering of it and let it sit for a day or two, then mix baking soda and water to clean the spot it needed.

Not sure if you have it in the states, but that Fabreeze stuff actually works...it took the nasty tobacco smells right out of my entire interior...too bad I didn't quit smoking though...

And I'd have to agree...letting drunks snooze in your truck sounds like it hasn't been working in your favour...maybe get a cap and a mattress and let them throw up in the back...:) (unless, of course, you plan to sleep there yourself...)

Did you at least get some from the drunk chick???? :sexe:

it may be worth a shot but go to a pet store and buy natures mercial. My wifes cat pissed on the couch once i mean emptied the entire bladder. It stunk really bad as you know how cat piss smells. Anyway its like 20 buck for a gallon we poured it on the couch i mean saturated it and let it dry and it took the smell away.

Thanks for the ideas, I would have never thought of those.

And no I didnt get any... Unfortanitly Im good freinds with her and I was being nice.

Ah, the old adage... "good guys finish last"

i've heard you can take a small tub (like a dish washing tub i guess, or the type of tub you soak your feet in) and put a folded towel in the bottom. pour a bottle of mouthwash on top of that and put the whole thing in the truck overnight atleast, 24 hours would be best. i havent tried it but from what i hear it works well. no guarantees you will ever get the mint smell out though.

True, but at least he's not sleeping with Bubba at the county jail either.

Besides, its his move. If it were me, I would have done the same. Thou not be happy about the bio up-chuck.

Yeah, I got drunk myself one night and passed out in the back of my Ramcharger...and as it happened I'd had mixed my drinks as I know I should never do...ended up with some funny pink stains (red wine and beer) that never did come out...yuk!

Mouthwash is pretty versatile...you can even use it as a deodorant...I've actually tried this and it works pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend it because it burns like crazy...but because it kills bacteria it does work in a pinch if you happen to stay somewhere and forget your deodorant...

Mouthwash also works on hands if you don't have any of that anti-bacterial spray...I keep a couple of those little spray bottles with me and they've come in handy a few times...oh, and it also helps freshen breath...lol
