Getting Down To The Wire!

Most likely tomorrow I'm going to buy a brand-new 2011 Ranger. I've been watching dealer inventories on the 'net since about February or so, and it's gotten down to only one local dealer having ANY Rangers left in stock. They have three 2011 XLT Supercabs, 4x4, 4.0 V6 Auto. Two of them are equipped exactly like what I want - one white and one red - with the limited slip diff, front/mid/rear skid plates, and 16" Y-Spoke wheels. The sticker on these two trucks are both about $28,500. I'll buy the red one if they still have it when I get there.

The dealer's web site lists this actual truck at $21,980.

My question is about pricing and incentives on this truck.

To go from a $28,500 sticker down to $21,980 has the dealer already applied all of the incentives that Ford may offer, or is there any other money off that can be applied? I have another Ford - a 2004 Mustang - so is there any loyalty discount that Ford may give? Do you guys think any loan incentives may apply, such as 0% for 60 months?

I guess I'm looking for what would be a good price to pay for this truck.

Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out the Ford incentives on the internet.......and don't act too EXCITED...annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd red is a good color!

That truck is dealer priced with every conceivable rebate available and probably some you wouldn't qualify for. They like to advertise that way.
$6000+ off it's pretty obvious that is the bottom line.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured. So if I get it for that I should consider it a good deal, I guess?

I'd say that's pretty fair, a 2005 Level II in real good shape is still worth $14k.

check dealerships that are out in the boonies as I know from past experiences that you can get better deals from them, then the ones that are large & in cities.

My parents drove nearly 1 hr 45 minutes drive away & saved nearly $5800 compared to the local dealer ships asking price for the exact same equipped vehicle

To the right guy, ain't worth half that to me.

i hope your not looking on ford's website, those arent updated as quick as you think. if you havent been to the dealer, they could be all gone.
