Getting a copy of your build sheet from FORD

yeh i purchased mine used from a dealership. i dont think it anything was changed on it, but it would be just interesting in itself to see the build sheet.

I looked thru there at all the requested info. I bought my 94 new in 94, so I already know what it had and how it looked when it was bought. It only had just a few miles on it from other test drives. My old 88 that was bought when it was 6 months old and I knew nothing was added when I got it. That thing was the basic model where it had no options of anykind. That 88 took a beating for many years and many more miles. My 94 is a whole different story. Since I already know from my rangers how they came, no reason to get a build sheet.

They are kind of neat, they are printed on nice paper and look official. I have both of mine framed on my bedroom wall.

That's almost obsessive compulsive Ranger syndrome...

but hey, I'm going to do the same thing!!!

Only one is a Ranger, I have thrown around the idea of getting one for my old Plymouth Laser too, so I would have all 3 vehicles I have owned.

I asked for a build sheet for my old 2001 Ranger. Ford mailed it to me pretty quickly, but it had all kinds of strange, and obviously wrong parts on it. The truck was a basic RCSB XL and the build sheet listed things like an Electric Ranger spare tire, console message center, and a couple of other Explorer parts that the truck definitely did not have. If I can find it, I'll post a pic.

Thankfully I have the window sticker for my 2002.
