Hi guys..I keep getting a 'left bank too lean code' when i scan the car to clear the check engine light. I have no idea what it is. Any input would be welcomed.

What engine

What engine do you have. If it is the 4 cyl. you shouldn't get that code. But, that code might mean other things too. Check to see if it is one of those multi meaning codes. I get that code on my Lincoln and fixed it with a new O2 sensor

I have a 4 banger that has 8 spark plugs. It has a bunch of meanings when you scan it. But if you were to replace all the things it says your looking at the price of a new ranger.:icon_surprised:

It sounds like you are having the same problem that I am having.

Throwing a code P0171 ?

This usually means air to fuel ratio is too much air. Sucking air from somewhere
its not supposed to.

Vacuum leak?

Dirty MAF?

Help from the experts?

Look for a vaccum leak.
Check for cracked hoses and elbows.

If you spray TB cleaner near a vaccum leak, the idle will change.
