hope I found all the connectors 'n stuff

about half way thru a front timing cover I found a bunch of other stuff.
screw it, the engines coming out.

(it's what 'ol retired guys do)

Time to put a 2.9L in it?

I feel your pain... a hoist would be so damn nice. Maybe one day...

I built a 3rd stall onto my garage about 15 years ago. We extended the roof outward, decreasing the pitch a little and maintaining an 8 ft ceiling. I kick my own ass every day for not extending the peak upward to allow a lift. I just didn't think about getting older,I think about it now.

try the bolts that fastened the engine to the transmission, that works sometimes.

If that's the 3.0, to put it in the Harbor Freight 1/2 ton engine stand, I used;

Two M12x75mm bolts (upper) and
Two M12 x 100mm bolts with nuts and washers (lower)

The transmission bolts won't do the job.

my arms are longer, 120mm for the lower thru bolts w/ nuts, same 120 at the top with 5/8 nuts to take up the excess length.
