Well I figured I tell a bit about myself and my interests for all of you folks out there. I assume anyone on here probably has similar interests/hobbies so it would be cool to get to know everyone. Here goes:

My father used to own an 87' Ranger XLT which eventually became my first vehicle. Man I Loved That Truck! One day I told my old man that I wanted to learn how to work on cars. He said, "Good! I need my tie rod ends replaced on the Ranger. Go to the parts store buy the tie rods and book and put them on." I did them in our driveway and the rest is history! I have since dragged my dad into the car world and it's been great for both of us. We have a 66 Ford fairlane that we have restored, and I just bought a 65' Fastback. And then there's my 97' Ranger (The old 87' has gone to that big ol' junkyard in the sky:sad:. Anyway figured I'd share a few pictures and I welcome any responses!

Nice, I like both the fairlane and the truck.

That Fairlane is bad to the bone! Good job you guys.

damn man nice "Shop" its CLEAN!!! wish i had a garage to work on my toys haha instead we have a tiny 15'by 30' garage stuffed FULL of TOOLS so i get to work on my stuff outside in the dirt haha.. o well as they say gotta start somewhere.. made a lotta memories their lol LOVE THE COLOR of that fairlane...

Welcome to the party, and ya'll have a nice looking operation there. Are those old-style American mags on the Fairlane?

Man, I have a soft spot for Fairlanes. I learned to drive in a '58 model, and my first car, a hand-me-down from my dad, was a '66 Fairlane wagon. Of course, station wagons ain't real cool to a teenager, and I wanted a Mustang, but ended up buying a '67 Camaro instead as my own first real car.

That Mustang ought to be sweet when ya'll get done. Welcome aboard.

Nice setup... I just get my tools and benches where I want them, and then decide I can make more room by switching it around...About once a month I rearrange all the toolboxes..

Dude, you didn't realize the seats fold down? :)

Yup. Had the air mattress in the back, and even curtains on the side glass, too. :icon_thumby:

Knock on wood all my vehicles are in proper working order.. which is great because I am broke!

that fairlane brings back memories of a 390 black gt and grudge night at eddyville dragstrip in iowa.dude!you are a lucky man.

Nice fairlane. That mustang definatly has a lot of potential. Keep us posted on it.

Looks like you're doing a resto-mod? Here's our 66 GTA and my brother hamming it up.
