Are there any 2WD lift kits that i could get that would get rid of those stupid torison bars? lil help here

You could take the torsion bars out if you installed a set of coil overs. There are numerous Explorer guys who have removed their torsion bars in favor of a set of coil overs. They don't have to add any lateral support either.

You can buy the parts from RCD. Get the parts that they normally send in their 4wd kits.

well I plan on doing a six inch lift wit dual shocks in the front and and full racing three link with a ford nine inch the rear from camburg and is lateral support really needed?

You can't do a 3 link with the SLA front suspension. To do a 3 link front suspension, you will need to do a SAS.

If you set your truck up for racing and jumping, then yes you will need lateral support on the lower portions of the a-arms, just like the RCD kits do.

Why would a 3-linked rear suspension have anything to do with the SLA suspension up front? :icon_confused:

if your 3 linkin the rear why dont you just do a full long travel kit up front also? a 3 linked rear cost more than most bolt on long travel kits

I guess you can understand people who don't use punctuation. The dude was talking about getting rid of torsion bars and then breaks out into the very piss poor English comment about 3 linking. It is very easy to misunderstand what he is talking about.

You are starting to be a prick, for what reason I have no idea.

well looks like nobody has look or even heard or camburg before, but their perfomance 6.0 lift is a sla set up and i would be three link the rear end because i don't wanna spend the extra grand for a full floating rear end.

with burg's performance 6.0 kit your still going to be on T-bars.unless your talking about the full on long travel kit.

if you are talking about a full on long travel kit......

Dont forget about blitz motor sports, and I belive BTF also makes a coil over kit as well for the edge rangers.

if your looking to save a few bucks, you may want to look in to threat motorsports for the rear link set up.

i dont quite understand what you mean by that. you can three link just about any rear end or four link it. could you elablorate please? just tryin to be on the same page as you and also about your front end, you goin the race kit or jsut that 6" performance lift. Also what would help is if you could post some pics off Camburgs page as to hat kit and link kit your talkin about im sure it will clear alot of the misconceptions up.
