I am gettin 31 inch BFG All terrains today finally to get rid of my shotty Toyo Open Countries!!!!!!!:yahoo:
The open country tires are the stock 27's

now my question....hold on tight this might be stupid.......how much higher is my truck gonna be???
im guessing 2in higher right???:icon_confused:

yes, but if you haven't done any lifting your front might rub. I have the 4.0 with the same tires. I am a little heavier in the front maybe, and my body mounts are sagging up there. Even with a 1" spacing of washers under the coils i get a rub if i hit a bump while cornering sharply. Maybe you will be ok, but just keep in mind you might need to do some lifting down the road.

yeah i already have the skyjacker 132x coils underneath her...should be good right???

O yeah its a SUPERCAB 3.0L and yeah the coils dont help much cause of the extra weight of the supercab

i just got some 265/70/15(30"s) tires on mine and it does just fine with the 3.0L with 3.73 axle.

Maybe, could be it.

and say he does get the tires, what gear size do you guys recommend? I'm putting 33x10.5's on my 2000 with 3.0 and 3.73's. I was thinking 4.88 ish

when i got 31's on my truck *it has the 3.0* it WAS a slug with 3.73's 4th gear became my best friend and 3ed gear was the runner up and still is with 4.10's but on the highway i notice a big diference with the gear swap i can hold speed in 5th again. =]
