some randoms:

I love this and I had the same thing in mind for my truck! Might I make one suggestion? Why not put the ford emblem off the stock grill right in the center of the billet one. I have seen a picture of it before and I love it!

I picked up a load of firewood today, oak at that. dont have a weight-distributing hitch. that might have helped me some. the front wheels locked up and slid a few times at stops due to not having enough weight on the front axle and being pushed by however much weight was behind me. didnt load it quite as full as i had space for, i knew i was pushing it enough as it were. there was enough space to get a hand between the trailer tires and fenders, but not much more. next trip i may take the full-size bronco, if for no other reason than having better brakes.

had the front hubs unlocked but did use 4 low to get out of the yard and through town. EDIT : 3/1 : didnt have the camera with me today, i picked up a stake sided 5x8 trailer and got another load of wood, this load wasnt so hard on the little truck, rear axle was onto the overloads but not hard into the bumpstops like yesterday. had oak blocks between the trailer axle and frame, whoever built this trailer didn allow enough fender clearance for suspention compression, in other words if i didnt keep the suspention from fully compressing, i would have been smoking the trailer tires on the undersides of the fenders. the trailer tougue was a bit bent by the load. at least time i could go over 50 without the tail wagging the dog, front brakes didnt lock up and slide either. dont like transporting firewood on a open trailer due to all the restrictions on firewood transport in this state these days. the big box trailer i still havent unloaded from yesterday, but it probly would attract more attention what with the front of the truck up in the air and tires squalling at every stop.
