Gearwrench tools?

I picked up an SAE and Metric set of the costco gear wrench sets this week. not to bad for 14 bucks a piece.

there has been quite a few times where I wanted the ratcheting ability but did not have room for a ratchet and socket to get on the bolt and loosen/ remove it.

The 13mm (or 1/2", either works) ratcheting wrench makes undoing the bellhousing bolts on a 2.3L a piece of cake from the bottom... likely works on others as well...

Top nut for rear shocks on panther car. Couldn’t figure out how to get at it without a ratcheting wrench.

I ended up cutting a hole so I could get an impact at it, but otherwise I would have needed a 9/16” jobber.

Top bellhousing bolts on a 5.0 from above, flexhead gearerench were awesome that day.

When I was doing the transmission on my 5.0L Explorer the first time when going in getting to the transmission dipstick bolt on the back of the passenger side head was a pain... I tried putting all of the extensions I owned together with a U joint at the end to the 15mm socket (if memory serves), I couldn't get to it from the top or bottom only the back, that mess of extensions was too wobbly so I went out and bought a locking ~30" 3/8" drive extension then added to that to get to the back of the trans... Between two exhaust pipes, the trans cooler lines, torsion bar and the A/C parts there just WAS NOT room :)

I put long tube headers on my mustang and now the starter is trapped in a cage of exhaust piping.
