4:56s with a 3.0 5spd running 33s is this a good combo for a daily driver and weekend wheeler?

idk, i have 33's, 5spd, 3.0... and 3.73, its not really that bad. but i still want to put 4.10s in it.

I have a 3.sl0w with 4.30s in my diffs pushin 35x15.5s. It sucks. Go 4.88s and do it up right the first time.

I really would like to run 488s but the rears im looking at are 456 and will cost me alot less then buying the gears and lockers seprate i jus wanted to see if anyone was running this combo to see how they like it

I disagree, 4.88 is more ideal for 33s on a 3.0L.
The 3.0L is a revver. If it can't spin fast enough, it'll actually suck more gas because of it.

I will say however your mileage likely won't be very much different with 4.56 vs. 4.88, but 4.88 will give you quite a bit more oomph.

I guess i will just have to start shopping around for new gears an lockers rather then buy rears with gears that really wont be all that great under my truck
