I had a mustang with a 2.3L but I never changed a front oil seal so I was surprised to get the harmonic balancer off my Mazda and find this little prize waiting for me. I've talked to auto parts store workers, tried forums and searched youtube for forever. Can somebody please tell me how to get that gear off so I can change my front main oil seal? Please!!

Welcome to TRS :)

I assume you mean the crank shaft timing belt gear, as seen here: https://www.2carpros.com/images/question_images/3291/original.jpg

Ford had a special tool to pull that gear but its no longer available.

Some ideas here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/sohc-...emove-crank-gear-2-3-2-5-lima-engines-154404/

People have used this, you have to grind it down to get in to fit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FHFRT6G/?tag=959media-20

The aluminum front cover is not easy to find so don't break it trying to pry gear out
