Gauge lights dont work and i want to find out why,
What does it take to get he cluster out?

My Haynes manual describes the procedure as a rather labourious task.(remove radio, remove center and lower trim panels, knee bolster and instrument cluster bezel, steering column cover and reinforcements, etc):temper:

If none of the lights work check the fuse on the driver's end of the dash board (appears to fuse #11). If it is just the bulbs I would try to access them from underneath by taking off the knee bolster. The bulb sockets are the black plastic caps on the back of the cluster (should be 6). They should come out with a 1/4 anticlockwise twist. If this works let me know because I have a burned out bulb on my cluster too.:derisive:

Thanks :)

All the lights were out on just the gauges but i gavet eh dash a "tap" and the fuel and batt i think it was (the left side ones) came on lol

Its actually not as bad as you think. Maybe ten minutes if you know what to do. The hardest thing was probably the speedo cable because its in back and hard to reach.

Little update, just got the guages out (not something id recommand doin with no sleep for a day and a half just cause you feel bored) took about 20 minutes, So many damn bolts lol (7mm and 9mm)
Looks like the 6 main ones are blown. (the 5 black and the one blue)

Anyone know what bulbs i need?

I'd like to know this too, i have some blown on the left side and right side so I cant see gas gauge at night. So would be nice to know what bulbs it uses before tearing the dash apart.

ive done that before, works well with white face gauges when u want to cutomize your color of light aswell.

Dash is back together, must have done something wrong tho, I didnt have any bolts left over :p
