I want to add a tach but not wanting an add-on. Is it possible to switch the cluster with one with a tach? Dorman makes replacements with a tach but I'm not sure about wiring. Any help would be appreciated.

The wiring is different, I believe there are some users who have made it work. I dont think it's too complicated

I think you can get a instrument cluster from the junk yard with a tach in it and be able to just plug it in. I think the wiring is already there in the harness to take advantage of it.
