The old truck used to drink shell v-power religiously, I'd paid damn near that for it. Pretty happy this truck enjoys good old 87 octane
I guess living on an island makes fuel just that much more expensive that having it all shipped up north.
ya,every thing is more expensive.with a small population,a location that isn't on the way to anywhere, and needing everything to come in by air or water, you get used to paying big for everything.
btw...that price is regular,if you want premium you add octane booster.
If filling up the gas tank starts to cost me $50, I'm going to start driving the motorcycle a lot more.

even the winter mix thickens up in the lines.... the stuff in the tank is fine, its just the lines that gel up. i have two tanks, so one gets the supplements and the other doesn't. in other words, i have a starting tank and a driving tank![]()
is your truck garage kept by any chance?
Wow, the news said we are one of the lowest in the US right now and I just kind of brushed it off. I got gas for 2.65 yesterday, but it was the cheap stuff. If it goes that high, I might have to get something else. It will definitely say Ford on it though.
I have my Ranger which is a 4.0 (4X4), and a 2006 Escape which is a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder (2wd), and my Mustang which is a 5.0 V8. Of those 3, I get the best gas mileage from the Mustang. Go figure.
