What kind of gas mileage have you been getting with your 4.0L Ranger

Please include which state your from, automatic or manual, and 4x4 or 2wd.

This has been gone over and over... LOOK AROUND!
Big Jim

4x4 about 10 mpg from the great state of Canada

On my 93 2wd with a 5 speed it gets around 17-20 mpg depending on how I'm driving.

x2... and why does it matter what state you're from?

Here, it's completely flat. There is not a single natural hill in charleston, or anywhere around it. I have to go north. Being flat as it is, super easier on your cars and trucks. Where as someone who lives in say the rockies belt, has alot of climbing to do. The only way I can go is down, we are under the water table here, by about 10 feet.

yes but if you go uphill you should make up for it going down hill on your way back:)

17-19mpg

well i was gonna say that canada is not a state, but my girlfriend is sitting next to me saying "that is mean... don't say that" so i won't bother. haha

17 city 20 highway 4.0 liter 4x4 in alabama

Roughly 11mpg so far in a 4x4 automatic from eastern Nebraska.

I blame it on the cold weather and slower driving conditions, I SHOULD be getting better I believe.

16 around town, mostly 2 lane country roads, maybe 20 on the highway. Driven like Grandma, 1992 4.0 STX 4X4 A4LD.

Southeast Washington State desert, mostly flat, some rolling hills.

These trucks are dogs on gas. I think it's because they are very heavy because they are solidly built. Fair price to pay for quality!

i get 18 on average with my 93 4x4 4.0 auto
