gas leak

got a 94 ranger xlt supercab 6cyl and gas is spewing out of the tank while idling dont know while going down the road but looks like from the top of the tank n e advice would be awesome thanks

My 00 mustang loses up to 1/2 tank when I fill it cause the ring in the top of hte tank where the pump seals was dented and not sealing, also cuz the filler neck has a bushing that seals it so the fuel dont leak out around the filler neck, mine is ripped and when I take left turns above 2 mph I lose a little.

that sounds like my truck too. i dont loose any when i turn but i cant fill it up more than half way. havent quite figured out the best way to fix it

The metal fuel lines that go into the tank tend to rust out at the bends.

Well, I am in the process of replacing my fuel filler neck right now. I will try to get pics and post them up.

the filler neck itself shouldnt be a problem, however the grommet where the neck meets the tank you need to check when you do repair the neck.
