So i tried looking on youtube about my gas gauge problem and the video i found had a guy showing something about an anti slosh module in the back of the gauge cluster so i tried that and it didnt work. So i tried replacing my sending unit and that wasted my time too. Does anybody know where the ground is for the gauge or is it my gauge cluster going bad?

This issue comes up at least once a week, I'm surprised there's not anything in the tech library about it. Anyhoo, disconnect the connector at the tank and turn on the ignition, the gauge should read either full or empty (can't remember which). Next, ground the wire that goes to the sender and turn on the ignition and the gauge should read opposite to the previous test. That will tell you if the gauge is working.
