Hi everyone, Hope someone has an answer to this.
I park my 2003 Ford Ranger, auto, 4.0 4X4 extended cab in the garage and in the morning it smells like there has to be an open container of gas in my garage. It's a strong gas smell; anyone had this problem or have an idea where it's coming from. There is nothing leaking on the floor.

Thanks, Gene

Check your fuel lines from tank all the way up to your injector rails. Also, I would check the evap lines from tank to canister. Just a few drops of gas can smell like a major leak. It could be dripping in a spot that is hard to see, or dripping on your frame etc. keeping it from reaching the floor for awhile.

Wave a lit lighter around under the truck. If you have a vapor leak your will find it.

I sure as hell wouldn't be parking in the garage until you find and solve the problem! Fire and explosions are only fun in the movies!
