Did RPS die once again? I went on to find the rim fitment article and the whole sites just a blank white page with:

Warning: require() [function.require]: Unable to access ./wp-blog-header.php in /usr/local/www/www.rangerpowersports.com/index.php on line 17

Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Invalid argument in /usr/local/www/www.rangerpowersports.com/index.php on line 17

What the hell?

I had to draw up (on paint) a quick diagram for a guy on how to measure lug pattern, did I get it right?

I don't think so.

From the top, clockwise, make it Holes #1,2,3,4,5.

The "5 x 4.5" that's typically found on Rangers would mean you would have to move the green line from the most top lug hole, #1, to the most bottom lug hole, #4. This should measure out to be 4.5 inches.

Good try tho :icon_thumby:

Yep - just measure to the farthest hole.

Well since I already sent this to him.. won't it measure out okay if I use the same exact method on my current rims to check the size?

Yes, as long as you're just making sure the measurements match rather than looking specifically for 4.5".

an easy rule of thumb to measure out bolt paterns on 5 lugs is to measure from the center of one lug to the nearest edge of the 3rd(skip one lug) and you have your bolt patern. 5(number of lugs) on 4.5( distance between 1st and 3rd lug)

FARTHEST EDGE.

That's why I stopped going over there so much. It's just not my site anymore.

This one's better anyways... RIGHT!
