My fault completely for not doing the "check size fit for your vehicle" before ordering from Amazon. I assumed the Ford Ranger headlights would fit, but the clips are made different and the attachment positions are slightly different. I have a '99 Mazda and many parts are interchangeable with Ford, but with any kind of body parts, it must be double checked. See pics
Update: correct Mazda headlights put in with minor adjustments. Parts from Amazon did not have adjustment notches and would not fit into space...needed to be notched, see pics

Any mods want to sticky this? It may help with all the people that don't get there are some part differences between the Rangers and the Mazdas

I thought it was common knowledge, that the headlights/taillights were the main differences.

You just didn't use a big enough hammer...

To most of us it is, but the amount of people I see asking the same questions over and over

True, no offense to OP,

Yes no offense to the op

The nose meaning: Lights, Grill, Bumper filler, bumper are different. These are a positive difference that are not interchangeable with the ranger parts.

The ones I am not positive of but believe are different are the valance panel and possibly the header and front fenders. ( fenders possibly because of the the front marker lights )

You would think a simple glance would notice the front end differences.....but I know several people who have done the same thing.
