FX4 Retrofit radio question

I have a '95 Ranger that I have acquired an '06 factory radio/CD player for. I used a Metra OEM radio-in and a Scosche harness on the truck side. The problem is that the radio works, the CD Player does not. It shows slots full, but it is empty. I noticed when wiring the harnesses together that the factory radio-in had a "Hot In Start" power wire. This was not present on the Metra harness. Is this causing the CD player to malfunction, and where does it get wired to? Any help is appreciated.

If it is the 6 cd changer, more than likely the cd reader has been bumped off alignment. You can take it apart and put it back on really easy.

is there a thread on how to realign it? mine has trouble as well.

It is pretty obvious if you take it apart.
