I have a 2011 XLT with the bese steelies, and I am considering buying a set of Alcoas from another member here, but I want to know if they'd fit. Namely:

1. I have rear discs, do models with drums have a fitment problem? Just curious, I've been burned before on older Fords.

2. Can you put 4x4 wheels on a 2wd? I'm not gonna machine these hubs just to not be able to use the centercap.

If the wheels will bolt up, I will do my best to buy them. :headbang:

I don't see any reason they shouldn't bolt up, the newer models don't have manual hubs IIRC. The only thing that won't fit are the tires that come with them, they are 31s.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I will be using my stock tires (as they only have 5000 miles on them and its just a 4-banger anyway) so this might work out perfectly.

Now to see if I have the money for them. :)

i am switching to disc brakes right now on my fx4 level II and i still am going to use my black ALCOAS.

You'll love the Alcoa's. They look awesome on just about everything. Just careful not to pay too much. Some people try and get way too much for them.

Yeah ever since I decided to get a Ranger (and then had to special order mine!) I decided that I'd want these wheels.

I recently put a 2004 XLT grille on mine, it works real nice with the charcoal bumper compared to the all chrome grille from the factory. The Alcoas will change the look even more! Not to mention the weight compared to the base steelies!
