I wasn't sure where this was appropriate, so I figured I'd just throw it in where the biggest problem is.
Around the start of the year, my truck started to shift strangely. It's an automatic and it only does so randomly. I'll be at a standstill (stop light) and start to move forward and when I do the truck will shutter for just a few seconds then act like nothing happened. And when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it will shutter for just a few seconds again. And finally, when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd it will over-rev "like a clutch has been pushed in" and then shift. Every other gear will shift correctly and like nothing is wrong.
And like I said, this happens randomly. It doesn't do it at all when I start the truck in the morning and drive to work, but the more I drive the more it becomes prevalent, but I could still go days without it happening.
Around the same time, my ABS light came on. I know it's a simple fix, but as I've read up on it, I've seen a few people say this can make the transmission act funny when there's a problem with the sensor. Does this sound typical or is my transmission about the shit out on me?
