Full Width SAS on '90 Danger the 4th

Swung by the "Jhevy" last night. Its needs a lot of hours. Still on the fence about it. I am going to pick it up and see what it comes with and go from there.

I made an excel sheet that ROUGHLY states what it needs. I estimated the costs too. We are looking at ~$4k to finish it excluding new wheels and tires. That kind of money for a fully linked V8 rig isnt bad IMO.

Plans:
Lower it... A LOT
3 link front would be nice. But will rock the front leaves for now
Different tires
Turn the 2 seater cage into a 4 seater cage.
Shave the 14 bolt at work.
Lower it... did i mention that?
Better crawl ratio. It is currently 52:1. Not slow enough. I am thinking a Dana300 swap. That will get me to 70:1. Or maybe just do a 203/205 doubler but those are HEAVY! A doubler will get me a 105:1 with 4.10s. I do want to drive this on the street.

Here are two teaser pics.

It looks solid enough. I see then engineer coming out again with the spread sheets lol. This should be a very interesting project.

Did ya get it???

Not yet. I went to borrow a friends trailer, but it didnt work because it was setup for a lifted truck. Not a stock 2wd lol. I didnt have the right hitch on me.

Once I finish college, I'm restoring my 46 Willys, I like older jeeps.

The nice thing about jeeps though is that if you can't find a part for it, you don't need to be driving one. So you shouldn't have to hard of a time making it awesome. :D

Well, This Saturday will be the day she is put to rest. She will become melted and hopefully become the steel of a new Ford truck. One can dream right?

Yes, I know I need to buy a 2 post lift. But I get by with what I got.

Floating Ranger

And successfully got it on a trailer by my self.

Also had some ideas with the JK....

I will get you these numbers this weekend. My wife is going out of town for 3 days so I will have some free time lol. They are buried in this thread somewhere. I have wanted to clean this thread up anyways.

Also, I have been job hunting. I have had a few second interviews. I am hoping for an offer from one of them today. Looking at a nice pay increase and an 86% decrease in commute lol. Looking at saving $400+/mo just in fuel. That would also mean the dually would become a summer time DD :)
This will also allow the next rig build to move faster lol
