haha. I finally dug them out. Just need to get them on. The heater doesnt work well with them off for some reason

New Johny Joints and new mounts for my frame. No more low arm mounts!!
Just need to order tube this week. I am going with 1-3/4" OD with a 1/4" wall.
Joints are the 2" with the 1"-14 shaft. They use a 9/16" bolt and are 2.63" wide.

2" 1/4" wall? How long are you making them?

1-3/4" DIA x .25 wall

Not sure on total length yet. I am thinking about 6"-8" longer than stock. The tube I have is 40" long.

Got the arms blasted at work. Getting ready to cut them down

They better be lol

Yes, these will be done for the trip and I might need a new slave before that trip too. Easy stuff.

I need to get new spare parts. I have been running my spare front DS for 2 years now. I need to get a new one back in. All depends on uncle sam. If he is good to me, I will be getting a tube bender and making some sliders. But I am not going to get ahead of my self. #1 is to get these arms done so I can actually flex and not be embarassed :icon_rofl:

I need to get that dually 4x4 donor truck out of my garage so I can do this new arm setup. I rented the other half of my garage out to a buddy for $150/mo. He is building a 500hp 3.6L? V6 with a turbo for his 2000 mustang. So my normal space has been cut down lol. I shold have that donor truck out this weekend. I ran out of cut off wheels last weekend. Just need to cut the rear u-bolts, roll the axles to the side and walk the frame out to the woods. Then I can start doing the math for the arms and make them happen.

Baby steps lol. Got the arms cut.
Its tough getting goverment jobs done through a union shop
