Hello every on I was just breifly reading and came across a forum that said on a 99 explorer that the fuel pump is controlled by the ecu. I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator,I got this because I have a walbro 255 fuel pump and its pushing too much fuel for a stock engine. I might have missed a forum that says if it'll hinder performance if you could send me in the right direction or inform me if it will please let me know thanks

The ECU controls the pump coming on, doesnt actually control pressure. If you have a 255 pump and have the regulator adjusted out of the stock specs then YES it can and will affect performance and fuel economy. :icon_idea:

Okay thank you sir just wanted to double check
