Whats up guys, just joined after searching google quite a bit
My 86 ranger 2wd single cab long bed has a fuel leak anytime I fill it up more than 1/2 tank. I have removed the bed and it is not the fuel neck as I have remove it and can see no crack or tears in it, which is a common problem as I have read here.
I have isolated the leak to the front of the sending unit, and metal retaining ring on the tank. I ordered a new rubber gasket and ring at autozone for 20 bucks and should be here thursday. is there any tips/tricks that I should know before swapping out the ring/gasket? Sorry for the long post..
Brian.
