i apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section.

i have limited experience with fuel tanks and cells.
i will be installing a fuel cell in a few months and want to get some research done so i know what to expect.

if i get one with a sending unit included i am pretty sure i need to use an aftermarket fuel gauge.
would i be able to take a sending unit from the ranger and put it in the cell and still use the gague on the dash?

Almost always the answer is no to them sorts of modifications. If a sender is available for that particular fuel cell you may be able to modify the signal from it to make your gauge work...sort of anyway.

Thanks Big Jim!

ill just go with the aftermarket gauge or call my friend who is a car electric genius. he may know how to convert it.
