Hi, has anyone else's fuel safty switch gone off? I think mine may have, but am not sure what caused it. was parked at a shopping center then driving down the highway a mile or 2 and the truck stalled. Not definate thats what it was but I hit the switch and the truck started back up. I've got 60K.

thanks!

Occasionally they can fail and just trip for no reason. It's about a 1 in a million failure, and the few times I've seen it you just reset the switch and you are good to go. I can't think of one that needed replaced for it.

If there was a passenger, or something rolling around on the floor that might have set it off.

cool thanks for that. it was parked at a shopping center, and i looked around to try to tell if it was hit but didn't see anything. took it to the mechanic and asked him if it was sensitive and he said it would have to have been rearended and that if someone hit it in the parking lot it wouldn't have even started.
