I have a 1990 2.9 with a leaking fuel line. It’s the return line that snaps on to the fuel regulator and then connects to the lines running to the tank. It’s leaking at the fancy snap on coupling that caused recalls in earlier models. I can push and pull the line to reseat the connector and the leak will stop but I smell gas often and often the leak is almost a stream. AutoZone says it is a dealer part and the dealer says it is obsolete. That's it...can't seem to buy a new one anywhere. Has anyone else seen this problem and even better is there an after market fix anywhere?
