Fuel pumps, Airtex?

Anyone ever deal with them? I have had to put 2 in my 96, One used, another nib. Now its down again with no fuel pressure. Starting to wornder if the pumps are junk from the get go or my truck is haveing another problem.

Airtex pumps are junk. we have trouble with them all the time

Order a delphi pump off amazon for $60 i went through 4 airtex and the delphi is 1000x better

I have one in my Samurai, that I put in 3 years ago. No issues out of it at all (I know I just jinxed myself). Might be a hit and miss type deal (more misses it sounds like).

I've had bad luck with them too, I bought a spectra pump which was a reboxed carter and its been fine for a while.

Yeah, they are junk, have a 92 ranger and i'm on my second one and still have no fuel pressure. Luckily i cut an access hatch in the bed so i can just pull it out, going with a bosch which was originally in it from summit racing. Stay away...far away....like other side of the world away from airtek
