Could some one please explain to me why for a super cab ranger fuel pump at the zone is a different part number than a regular cab? Both selected for the 4.0L and the reg cab one is 15 bucks cheaper, Not that I'm cheapin out, but I'm just curious to what the heck the difference would be.

What you are getting a price for is the whole assembly and not just the pump itself. If all you want is the pump and sock them tell them that. The difference between a reg cab and a super cab in the way the sending unit is designed. But make sure that do don't need the whole assembly as the sending units like to break and crumble at the top when messed with.

The "whole unit" is different on the supercab because the TANK itself is different.

that's what I figured.
so in regards to a bII tank, which ranger pump would work better, or does it even matter? I'm putting a bII tank in the bed of my ranger.
