Fuel Pump

So where can I locate this suspect nut? Should it be bolting the wheel to the column or the column to the dash... Sorry to ask all these stupid questions when I could just lean over and look! I'm at work 30 miles from the truck so It makes it a lil difficult to check.

You have to pull the steering wheel pad, in the middle. Not exactly sure how it discombugalates, off the top of my head, but it's likely either screws from the back or just prying it off. Behind that, contrary to my colleague's assertation, is the mighty steering wheel nut. Should be easy to check out.

The only way that'll happen in an '88 is if Rush Limbaugh falls outta the dash vent.
