Can I run an electric fuel pump on my 85 2.8l ranger?

Yes. Make sure its rated for carburetor. Iirc, 5-7 psi. The range on the pump may be bigger, like 3-15, but the needle and seat should be able to handle that range.

That’s what I was thinking or maybe have to use an inline regulator. Recently I was about 3 hrs away from any town and my fuel pump stopped working I was going to mount an electric one ready to go in case it ever happened again thank you
