I replaced the fuel pump in my 86 ranger yesterday and the realys after i did this i checked it to make sure evertyhing worked, it did. then i rearranged the lines a little bit and put gas in it and now it wont start. what could possible be the problem now

Does the fuel pump prime when you put the key in the accessory position? Does the engine crank when you try to start it or does just nothing happen. If that's the case then something else has gone wrong somewhere else, possibly with the starter motor or ignition power.

no it doesnt prime.but the engne will crank over. i just dont know how i had it running then within an hr it doesnt.im gonna check here in a little bit and see if a line is crimped or something that is stopping the pressure for the pump
