fuel pump ?

have 89 ranger and the thing has what appears to be second fuel pump in the rail in front of the fuel filter ,is this what it is or is it some thing else ?looked around and can't find the part anywhere ,thanks chris

does it have an electrical connection? you can get in line fuel pumps, i'm not a huge fan of them myself though, lol

It is stock for your truck, its the inline fuel pump (high pressure) there is also one in the gas tank (low pressure).

i thought that only the 86-88 rangers had the inline pump? could be an early 89.
