- Did partial rebuild in the street 3 days, shop takes 3 days. Don't need a Shop
Someone decided to use two head gaskets
No wonder the head bolts were so easy to break loose!!!
Fortunately nothing looks to affected other than adding to the lovely mess I get to clean up..
Valves upon closer inspection look very salvageable, going to replace the broken exhaust bolts. New Valve replacement parts with the gasket set so they will go on when I'm done cleaning.
For reference I'm using the Fel-Pro set but I'm going with non torx style heads because honestly I strongly dislike trying to torque them the normal bolt style just seems easier.
Edit
Thought ran through my head, not that I recommend but wouldn't that mean the head bolts that were installed never actually stretched because they were never seated correctly?
So technically "installed" but never actually used
