To test fuel pressure, you need to go to the schrader valve on the side of eth fuel rail (I haven't looked in a while, but I think it's on the side, not the front).
In my auto shop class, we had a whole kit that had the adapters for most all makes and models, so I couldn't tell you what one you need.
You may be able to take your tester to NAPA, and they might be able to match one up to your tester that is for a Ford.
I did quiet a bit of testing with my Ranger with the fuel system in shop class, and if I recal, the PSI should be between 35 and 43psi with key on engine off, and 30-40 with the engine running. This is a for a 93 4.0L, I don't know what you have
