I got that evaporative system leak code and it appears to be a problem at the top of the filler neck where it connects to the flareside box. It is rusted. Go figure living in Minnesota. Problem is you cannot get one either from Ford or after market for a flareside. Plenty for the styleside.

Talking with my dealer friend, it appears that the assemble is a metal upper connected via hose to the tank. He said Ford sells the entire unit including the hose. No other option from Ford. So, I was wondering if the only difference between fillers is the hose. Any thoughts.

Also, anyone else had this problem?

I may have the filler neck from when I R&Rd my filler hose. Cant remember but let me know if interested and I will go look. I got mine from autozone since I could take back (unlike ebay and others) for immediate replacement refund. I would think basically the same but not sure since the flair side is just a little narrower.

Did you check lmc trucks?

Just found one at a company called Filler Neck Supply. Thanks for the response.
