There are a set of lines running by the frame under my drivers door on my 97 Ranger I just purchase. It is kind of hanging down and I am scared it will snag something in the woods. It looks like it is coming out of the gas tank? The lines are together and are tie straped up in one spot, but hanging down everywhere else. Thanks for the help.

Yes, those would be fuel and brake lines. Are they hanging below the frame, or are they still in the frame rail? Is the fuel filter still bolted in place? If they are in the frame rail, they are fine. If they are hanging below it or are loose, then you have a problem.

what he said. check your fuel filter and get those lines secured.

It will be attached to the lines and is under the cab on the frame. The bracket for it has a stud that bolts to the frame. Check to make sure the filter is in the bracket, and that the bracket is bolted down. All of those lines should be tucked up inside of the frame rail.

10-4. I will check it when I get home. Just purchased the truck for hunting and noticed it yesterday. I will post back tomorrow what I find. Thanks for the help.

There is a power coverter in the back. Looks like this is what the wires are for. It is behind the drivers seat in the wall of the cab. I guess I will just get it secured by the frame and hope I dont hang it on anything.
