Does anyone else have a fuel gauge that goes WAY beyond "F" and takes forever to start going down, but when it does it goes down rapidly? Curious more than anything. Is there a fix for this?

yea mine does that too. goes so far past f that you cant see the needle anymore. and about half a tank it reads empty

well you can pull the sender and bend the float arm up. do this with a known 1/4 or 1/2 tank and go until the gauge reads the same as the tank quantity.. I also suspect that the electrical contact tabs on the float arm are starting to go bad.

Mine reads at a full tank for 90-100 miles of driving. After that it takes another 120 - 140 miles for it to go from full to empty. I just know how far I can go on a tank and fill up at that mileage on the trip odo.

Yeah I do the same thing. Sounds exactly like my gauge ha ha.

Your gauge works? Mine hasn't since I bought my ranger.
Fill it up every time and watch the trip odo. works every time.
