replaced sending unit- pump, and fuel and oil press. gauges

Ifound the yellow w/ white signal wire I dont see any chaffing or splits.

does anyone have any ideas? I welcome all, at this point.

It's really simple.

An open wire will make it read full.

Short that YE/WH wire to the ground, guage should read empty. You do need to cycle the key to OFF while making the jumper connection to get past the anti-slosh circuit. If you haven't been cycling the ignition switch off, that may be your problem. You can't just move the sender from full to empty and expect to see the gauge move.

If it doesn't read empty when jumpered, you need to verify the YE/WH wire has power at the top of the tank connector. The wire next to it is its ground - those are the two to jumper. The other two wires are for the fuel pump. If you've had the sender out, you can see which is which.

I'm still waiting for RockAuto to send me a new sender for one of my 93 project trucks. Couldn't make the old sender maintain resistor contact. Can you believe it was worn out after only 15 years?

I have a 2004 Sterling day cab at work with a similar problem, only oppisite. gauge reads empty and it is full to the top. so far I have had to completely rip out all of the F'd up wiring that some reject screwed up, finally managed to get the correct signal at the dash harness, only to find out the gauges itself is also screwed up.

I hope your problem is not as severe as this. Good luck I hope you get it sorted out quick.

sounds to me like you might have a problem with the anti-slosh module. Its in the back of the instrument cluster.

Thank you guys for pointing me in the right direction
I grounded the yel/wht wire at the fire wall, no change.
I pulled the pod out and found the printed wires on the back were torn-cut.
I soldered them back works great.

Thank you guys agin Jeff
