^ yep like 7yr old size arms. It's WAY easier to take the bed off. 6 bolts in the bed, T-55 torx I think and hit them with PB blaster a day before if your truck is rusty to make it easier, 3 little one's on the filler neck, and remove the wiring for the tail lamps (super easy) then just have a buddy help you pick it up and set it out of the way and you have plenty of room to work. It'll take longer to remove the bed as to replace the filler tube, but it will take 10x longer to try either dropping the tank and or just squeezing it in. Not to mention the PITA of either of the latter two, especially if you don't have access to a lift. Good luck!
