I need to change my filler hose on my 94. I have installed a new fuel pump in tank a few years ago and it was a bitch to get fuel lines gauge wires and filler hose attached right. Especialy with five or so gallons of fuel left in tank. My son says it would be easier to remove bed from frame to swap hoses. I am considering this route cause I can lift bed off at work with a forklift. Which way would be easier?:icon_confused:

Thanks for reply, I kind of thought it would be easier for one you dont have to jack truck way up and catch the inevetable sand in the eye. I just need to get off my dead ass and fix it. Meantime I still need to investigate a check eninge light condition I havent been able to pinpoint. I got it narrowed down to the engine control cumputer module or a crap connection between egr solenoid and cumputer module. Ony my 94 it is at drivers side firewall and retained by a plastic braket with two nuts on welded studs. Lower nut looks a little tough to get but I need to yank module to get ID. No. Once I get this one figured out I can get my truck reregistered. :icon_hornsup:

already have it posted on a thread a couple days ago and no bites yet. It was code 332. Cel comes on at about 2 to 3 miles and will go out for a while then come back on. I found egr solenoid shorted. I still get 12 volts at solenoid and wiring diagram in haynes book shows other wire coming from ecm. I put ohms meter on wire and it shows little resistance and doesent change with engine warm and running about 2500 rpm. I think ecm is possibly done.
