I've decided on inboarding my leaves, and there is a huge fuel tank in my way.

What has everyone else done as far as getting a fuel tank in the bed?

I have an 18 gallon plastic fuel cell, though I am not against putting the stock tank in the bed either. My main concerns are, fitting my sending unit to the cell, and extending the fuel lines.

Will my stock regular cab 20 gallon tank fit sideways against the front of the bed?

Any more issues I have missed? All input on this would be greatly appreciated.

I mounted my cell behind the rear axle. I used an inline pump with Walboro pickups in the tank, no sending unit. I can't answer your questions about using the stock tank though. I think the stock super cab tank is to wide though, single cab should fit sideways

I used a walbro 255 in line pump with no pump in the tank re did my stock sending unit with all thread and replaced all of my lines with fragola fittings and blue push lock hose.
