So, I'm looking to order a replacement ring and pinion set from Ford Racing.
They have two options.
M-4209-G410A or M-4209-88410.
What's the difference ? Summit has them as different items on their site.
Which ones should I get for my 2002 FX4?

Thanks for the help.

G410A would be the old part number, 88410 the newer one

They are the same part, 4.10 ring and pinion made by, well made to, Ford Specs. for the 8.8" rear axles
Either would work for 2002 FX4

Summit has G410A listed with this
Not Available, No Worries, We Suggest...
This Substitute Part is similar to the item you requested.
Ford Performance Parts M-4209-88410 - Ford Performance

Thank you for the clarification.

I found a FRPP set sold by a Ford dealer on Ebay.
Should arrive tomorrow.
